What Clicks Are:

Clicks are small groups here at Discover Life Church. We believe that life change happens in the context of relationships. Clicks provide a safe environment for people to share their life experiences, grow in their faith, and experience healing.

Clicks have one simple purpose – to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in community with others and only then can we experience the full life He intends for us. Meaningful relationships can be difficult to find, and our Clicks exist to make life changing relationships relevant and available to you.

What Clicks Look Like:

Here at Discover Life Church we encourage leaders to form their Clicks around their gifts or interests. From sports Clicks to lunch Clicks, mom Clicks to student Clicks, Bible Studies to creative arts Clicks, we have a Click for you. Clicks meet weekly in three semesters throughout the year.

Leading a Click:

You don’t have to be perfect to lead a Click. Leading a Click is about serving others by giving them a place to connect. We will give you all the tools you need to be successful as a Click Leader. We have leadership training, coaches, curriculum, and a directory to help you register your Click and stay connected with them throughout the semester.  Leadership training for the next Click semester begins in May 2020.

Freedom Clicks

Freedom Clicks gather weekly to discuss the Freedom curriculum, which is designed to equip you to live the victorious and abundant life Christ came to give you. Freedom Clicks build on the foundation of your faith in Christ to help you embrace the truth of God’s Word as it relates to your worldview, your past, your sin, your personal value to God, and your purpose in His Kingdom. This Click will help you remove every obstacle to intimacy with God and walk in true freedom.

The Freedom Curriculum focuses on six areas of personal growth:

Living in the “Tree of Life”

God never wanted us to pursue dead religion, rather His heart is for us to know Him personally and live in our true identity as His children. You will learn what it means to live in the “Tree of Life” and how a simple but powerful perspective shift can impact every area of your life.

Walking in the Spirit

The Bible talks about the Spirit-led life, but this kind of living can feel hard to reach. Through Freedom, you will learn the principles of spiritual order and how feeding your spirit over your emotions and flesh is key to walking in the Spirit.

Surrendering to Jesus

God calls us to love and serve Him above all else, and when we do, we see how we can grow in our purpose, live forgiven and forgive others, and receive His blessings. Freedom will help you learn how to surrender to Jesus and live in freedom daily.

Speaking Words of Life

Our words have power, and by learning to speak words of life that line up with God’s Word, your words can change your environment and relationships and break the power of the enemy’s words in your life.

Becoming a Vessel God Can Use

God has a unique plan and purpose for our lives, but we also have an enemy who is trying to keep us from fulfilling this purpose. In your Freedom Group, you will learn how to stand in the authority of Jesus to overcome sin and the enemy’s schemes as you allow God to use your life for His glory.

Living as a Worshipper

We all worship something. Freedom will help you learn how to daily direct your worship to God and discover how it can influence the heart of everything you do.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens at a Click meeting?

You’ve probably seen groups meeting and not even realized it. A click looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest. At its core, a click is a small gathering of people, and it is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. By participating in a Click, you can expect to connect with others through a common activity, engage in life giving conversation and request prayer.

How often do Clicks meet?

Clicks meet weekly throughout the year in three semesters. We have a thirteen-week Spring semester, a six-week summer semester, and a thirteen week fall semester.

Where do Clicks meet?

Clicks meet in homes, apartments, coffee shops, local restaurants, parks, and the beach across Brevard County.

How long do Clicks stay together?

Most Clicks meet for a semester. This way, new people can join them easily and regularly. Also, the semester format allows you to try multiple clicks each year. As relationships form, some clicks may choose to stay together for consecutive semesters, but new members are always welcome!

What if I don’t like the first Click try?

We understand that not everyone will fit in the first Click they try. Therefore, we encourage everyone to visit our directory, contact the leader, and visit a few Clicks till you find the right fit for you. The best strategy in finding the right Click is to not give up! We believe there is a Click for everyone, including you!
